I’ve been neglecting my baby druid lately because I am determined to get more honor on my priest. One thing I notice in the battle grounds are moonkins. Sometimes they are good, and solo 2-3 of the opposing faction at once, by losing them in line of sight, healing themselves, keeping them alternately cycloned, trees, and more. Sometimes they are really bad and stand there and try to starfire a melee class that is a. not rooted or b. not about to come out of a cyclone. Then the rogue/warrior/enhancement shaman runs behind the druid and finishes them off while the spell gets canceled.

I looked around for balance druid pvp blogs and couldn’t really find any. Most full S3 druids I see are pvp resto specced, but I’ve seen at least 3 full season 3 geared moonkins. I wish there were more blogs or information out there on the pvp moonkin. I’ll have to keep looking. Of course one of my worst fears is that I’ll be one of the bad ones once I get my druid up there in levels.

The joys of single digit levels… April 15, 2008

I forgot how painful fun it is to level up a druid. I leveled up my first druid as resto because I wanted to be a healer and I wanted to learn how to heal by the time I got to level 60. Three grueling months later, I was 60 and somehow still didn’t know how to heal.

I don’t really know what spec to level this time. Everyone says feral is fastest and easiest but I’m afraid I might lose interest in leveling if I am specced a way I haven’t liked in the past. Regardless, the first 20 levels almost force you to level in caster form because bear form leaves something be desired in lower levels :) Lack of gear is another issue for a caster druid altogether, as any druid knows, but we’ll see.

Today, I just want to get to level 10 and get my bear form. I should also pick up my professions soon (mining and jewelcrafting) since I keep running by nodes and wishing I could mine them already.
